Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley, Inc. is a nonprofit organization. Support and donations from our community are critical for our survival.

Donations are received in two forms: in-kind and financial. Generally we receive in-kind donations that help supply our shelter (Beacon House) and the needs of our guests. These donations come in a variety of ways, from backpacks with school supplies for children and infant care supplies, to personal hygiene items and household supplies. In-kind donations are essential to our operation and the services that we provide to our guests. When families enroll into our program, they are given towels, basic bathroom necessities, cleaning supplies, and other items.

In addition to in-kind support, we also look to our community for financial support. Whether it be a donation given in memory or honor of a family member, planned giving, or a donation to one of our signature events (HIKE for the Homeless, Festival of Toys, etc.), monetary donations are critical in our day-to-day operations.
